Ori Kohikikko vs Mark Riddick

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Promotions promoted show at Brett Cammon Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 01/03/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ori Kohikikko (4 - 7(2) - 2) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Mark Riddick(4 - 5(1) - 3) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Kohikikko weighed in at 126 pounds and 10 ounces, while Riddick weighed in at 125 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Barry Ramage, and the three ringside judges are Alen Ritchey, Mark Dew and Glynn Morgan.  

Round 1: 

Riddick advances into close range.  Kohikikko pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kohikikko hits home with a cross.  
Riddick connects with a right hook.  Riddick wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Kohikikko has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Riddick's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Riddick throws a right uppercut, but is not on target.  Riddick clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Riddick pushes his forearm into Kohikikko's face.  The referee warns Riddick and breaks the clinch.

Kohikikko connects with a left hook.  
Riddick walks Kohikikko into the corner.  Riddick is on target with a left hook.  
Riddick lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Riddick throws a right uppercut, but is not on target.  Riddick clinches his opponent.  Riddick leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Riddick manages to force Kohikikko onto the ropes.  Riddick sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kohikikko is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Kohikikko gets on the inside.  Riddick digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.
