Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Enugu State promoted show at Enugu Olanare, Enugu,  taking place on 05/03/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Enugu State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aftab Amara (9(5) - 0) who hails from Nsukka, Nigeria and Dele Yaradua(21 - 10 - 5) from Enugu, Nigeria.  Amara weighed in at 200 pounds, while Yaradua weighed in at 199 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Elderson Iseghohi, and the three ringside judges are Gbolahan Usman, Moses Nku and Bilal Baddour.

Amara stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Yaradua throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Amara lands two straights to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Yaradua's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Yaradua's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Yaradua's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Yaradua's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
