Kieran Tyre vs Ricky Shand

Boxing Daily Report from the Sijabala Promotions promoted show at Hoover Short, Hoover,  taking place on 05/03/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kieran Tyre (27 - 8(3) - 2) who hails from Huntsville, USA and Ricky Shand(23(1) - 11) from Montgomery, USA.  Tyre weighed in at 199 pounds and 10 ounces, while Shand weighed in at 200 pounds and 12 ounces.    As Shand came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Glasford, and the three ringside judges are John Maffett, Daniel Batie and Mark Hush.
