Elliot Cary vs Rich Donini

Boxing Daily Report from the High Stake Promtions promoted show at Gyimah Gym, Paterson,  taking place on 08/03/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid Atlantic Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elliot Cary (28 - 21(8) - 6) who hails from New York City, USA and Rich Donini(11(4) - 0) from Newark, USA.  Cary weighed in at 168 pounds And 10 ounces, while Donini weighed in at 168 pounds.    As Cary came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Rob Bonaccini, and the three ringside judges are Sid Kellison, Paul Bett and Robert Dalton.  

Round 1: 

Donini is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Donini ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Donini pushes his forearm into Cary's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Donini to stop fouling.  
Donini sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Cary's ribs.  
Donini is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Donini lands a stiff jab.  
Donini closes the distance.  Cary throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Donini is on target with a left hook to Cary's body.  
Donini connects with a stinging right hook.  Donini holds on to his opponent.  Donini throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Donini leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Donini gets on the inside.  Cary pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cary throws a left uppercut, but Donini holds on to his opponent.  Donini throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Donini lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Donini advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Donini connects with a left hook.  Donini ties up his opponent.  Donini tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cary behind the head. Donini is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Donini lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a jab to the body.  
Donini closes the distance and drives a sharp left hook into Cary's liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE CARY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Donini thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Cary away.  Donini lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND DROPS CARY!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Cary has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Donini manages to force Cary into the corner.  Donini lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Cary sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Donini lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Donini closes the distance.  Cary quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Donini drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  CARY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cary quickly recovers. 
Donini lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Donini lands a firm right hook.  
Donini lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Cary quickly recovers. 
Donini lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cary's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Cary's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Cary's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
