Jacob Torbett vs Saif al Din Almesbahi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Oklahoma City Lundie, Oklahoma City,  taking place on 23/02/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jacob Torbett (4 - 0) who hails from Wichita, USA and Saif al Din Almesbahi(23 - 12(2) - 2) from Tangier, Morocco.  Both Torbett and Almesbahi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Galatas, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie McCleese, Inigo Levingston and Robert Braddick.  

Round 1: 

Torbett closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Torbett digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  ALMESBAHI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Torbett holds on to his opponent.  Torbett is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Almesbahi quickly recovers.

Almesbahi tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.

Torbett leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Torbett lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Torbett holds on to his opponent.  Torbett is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Torbett forces Almesbahi to back into the corner.  Torbett pivots to the right of his opponent.  Almesbahi throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Torbett holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Torbett gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND SENDS ALMESBAHI TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Torbett clinches his opponent. Torbett lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Torbett holds on to his opponent.  Torbett leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Torbett's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Torbett lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Almesbahi throws a left hook, but Torbett holds on to his opponent.  Torbett is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Torbett to stop holding.  
Torbett quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a stinging right hook into Almesbahi's body.  
Torbett advances into close range and is on target with a firm left hook to Almesbahi's liver.

Torbett lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS ALMESBAHI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Some sustained pressure from Torbett could be enough to finish Almesbahi!  Torbett lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES ALMESBAHI!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Almesbahi has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Almesbahi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Almesbahi's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
