Xavier Porto vs Ouahid Elbasir

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Complexe Al Amal, Casablanca,  taking place on 02/03/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Xavier Porto (5(3) - 0) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Ouahid Elbasir(17(1) - 7(4)) from Khenifra, Morocco.  Both Porto and Elbasir weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Taqiy Stephenson, and the three ringside judges are Hamdan Elkhalouki, Moufid Soler and Husam al Din Bouchikhi.  

Round 1: 

Elbasir sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Porto connects with a stinging right uppercut.

Porto steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Porto clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Elbasir pushes his forearm into Porto's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Elbasir about fouling.  
Porto closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Porto connects with a firm right hook.  
Elbasir throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Porto advances into close range.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Porto dabs at his face checking for damage.  Porto has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Porto closes the distance and drives a left hook into Elbasir's ribs.  
Porto lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Porto digs in a left hook to Elbasir's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Porto dabs at his face checking for damage.
