Travis Mellett vs Adam Strahan

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Bob Guertin Arena, Gaineau,  taking place on 16/03/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Travis Mellett (8(1) - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Adam Strahan(12 - 10 - 3) from Laval, Canada.  Both Mellett and Strahan weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicholas Prior, and the three ringside judges are Verrier Luna, Johnny Smith and Henry Popkin.  

Round 1: 

Strahan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mellett drives a right hook into Strahan's ribcage.  Mellett holds on to his opponent.  Mellett is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mellett about fouling.  
Mellett closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Mellett walks Strahan down, trapping him in the corner.  Mellett is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Mellett digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mellett lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mellett is on target with a right uppercut.  Mellett holds on to his opponent.  Mellett is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

As they grapple, Mellett pushes his forearm into Strahan's face.  The referee warns Mellett and breaks the clinch.

Mellett advances into close range.  Mellett drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Strahan dabs at his face checking for damage.
