Denis Bayne vs John Akin

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Bob Guertin Arena, Gaineau,  taking place on 16/03/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Denis Bayne (10(4) - 1) who hails from Montreal, Canada and John Akin(12 - 11(1) - 4) from Pueblo, USA.  Both Bayne and Akin weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Smith, and the three ringside judges are Verrier Luna, Nicholas Prior and Henry Popkin.  

Round 1: 

Bayne advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Bayne holds on to his opponent.  Bayne is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bayne about fouling.  
Bayne lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
Bayne steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Bayne digs in a left uppercut to Akin's body.  Bayne ties up his opponent.  Bayne leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bayne throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Bayne clinches his opponent.  Bayne leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bayne gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Akin's ribs.

Bayne manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Bayne lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Bayne closes the distance and walks Akin into a corner.  Bayne lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Bayne advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Akin steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a cross, but Bayne dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bayne is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Bayne holds on to his opponent.  Bayne is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Akin attempts to land a cross, but Bayne sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.

Bayne advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Bayne lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bayne drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Akin steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Akin's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Akin's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Bayne is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Bayne clinches his opponent.  Bayne tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Akin's kidney. The referee warns Bayne and breaks the clinch.  
Bayne lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Bayne closes the distance and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Akin throws a left hook, but Bayne holds on to his opponent.  Bayne uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Akin behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bayne to stop fouling.  
Bayne lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Bayne is on target with a right hook.  
Bayne is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Bayne throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Bayne connects with a left hook.  
Bayne quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bayne digs in a right hook to Akin's body.  Bayne clinches his opponent.  Bayne leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Bayne to stop holding.  
Bayne lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Bayne gets on the inside.  Bayne sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Bayne SLAMS a SAVAGE right uppercut into his opponents face.  AKIN IS DOWN!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Bayne!
