Neil Riddick vs John Bel

Boxing Daily Report from the Phantom Fights promoted show at Brampton Middlemiss, Brampton,  taking place on 20/03/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neil Riddick (15 - 22(3) - 6) who hails from Toronto, Canada and John Bel(16 - 12(3) - 6) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Riddick and Bel weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Callum Berry, and the three ringside judges are David Raison, Antwan Dundas and Gareth Aitken.  

Round 1: 

Bel drives a left hook into Riddick's liver.  
Bel hits home with a right hook.  
Riddick gets on the inside.  Riddick pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Bel connects with a right uppercut.  
Riddick steps inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Riddick pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bel digs in a right uppercut to Riddick's ribcage.  
Riddick is looking to keep his distance.  Bel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
Bel steps inside.  Riddick hits home with a right uppercut.  
Bel walks Riddick onto the ropes.  Riddick tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Riddick hits home with an overhand left.  
Riddick hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Riddick's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Bel's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Riddick digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Riddick gets on the inside.  Bel hits home with a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Riddick dabs at his face checking for damage.  Riddick has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Bel steps inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Bel is looking to close the distance.  Riddick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Bel time to recover.  
Riddick drives a right uppercut into Bel's body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Riddick's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Bel drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Riddick has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
