Mel Desmond vs Michael Johns

Boxing Daily Report from the Elliot Britton promoted show at London Price, London,  taking place on 20/03/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Southern England Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Desmond (8 - 4 - 1) who hails from London, UK and Michael Johns(16 - 19(4) - 5) from Bristol, UK.  Both Desmond and Johns weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James McIver, and the three ringside judges are Scott Veatch, Davie Cassel and Mark Rhind.  

Round 1: 

Desmond attempts to land an overhand left, but Johns sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
