Dayaram Wali vs Ganesa Nayak

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Indira Gandhi Arena - KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, New Delhi,  taking place on 25/04/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the India Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dawud Dayaram Wali (15(9) - 0) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Ganesa Nayak(31 - 27(6) - 4) from Hyderabad, India.  Both Wali and Nayak weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Suneil Dhingra, and the three ringside judges are Atif Mostafa, Ahmed Ibrahim and Kailash Rajpurohit.  

Round 1: 

Wali steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Wali clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Wali pushes his forearm into Nayak's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wali about fouling.  
Wali lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nayak dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Wali pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Wali is on target with a forceful left hook to Nayak's body.  NAYAK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Nayak quickly recovers. 
Wali digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Wali advances into close range and slams a big left hook into Nayak's body.  NAYAK IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Wali clinches his opponent.  Wali leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wali closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, AND SENDS NAYAK SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Wali cuts off the ring, trapping Nayak on the ropes.  Wali pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Wali lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Nayak quickly recovers. 
Wali attempts to land a right hook, but Nayak blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Wali steps inside and walks his opponent into the corner.  Wali stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Wali lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES NAYAK!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Nayak has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Wali quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Wali drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  Wali tries to land a left hook, but Nayak blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Wali lands a jab.  
Wali lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Nayak quickly recovers. 
Wali is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Wali manages to force Nayak into a neutral corner.  Wali sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a potent left hook to Nayak's body.  NAYAK IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Wali drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Wali lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nayak pivots to the side of his opponent.  Wali is on target with a powerful left hook to Nayak's liver.  NAYAK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Nayak recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Wali walks Nayak onto the ropes.  Wali whips in a hurtful right uppercut to Nayak's body.  NAYAK IS HURT!  
Some sustained pressure from Wali could be enough to finish Nayak!  Wali whips in a nasty left uppercut to Nayak's ribs.  DOWN GOES NAYAK!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Wali lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, KNOCKING NAYAK DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Nayak now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Wali closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wali is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Wali gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Nayak quickly recovers.

Wali stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Wali lands a cross, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  The winner by KO is Wali!
