Justin Fylan vs Dave MacNeil

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow,  taking place on 14/03/2043:

Clearly Plunder Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Justin Fylan (5(5) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Dave MacNeil(15 - 9(1) - 2) from Glasgow, UK.  Fylan weighed in at 147 pounds, while MacNeil weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Andrew Frew, and the three ringside judges are Ed McPhatter, Anton Adam and Martin MacBeth.  

Round 1: 

Fylan tries to land a jab, but MacNeil slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fylan advances into close range and drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.

MacNeil walks Fylan onto the ropes.  MacNeil pivots to the right of his opponent.  Fylan lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
MacNeil tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land an overhand left, but Fylan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
MacNeil drives a right hook into Fylan's body.  
MacNeil steps to the outside and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Fylan lands with a spiteful jab.  
Fylan is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but MacNeil sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Fylan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
MacNeil lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Fylan walks MacNeil down, trapping him on the ropes.  MacNeil hits home with a left hook.  
Fylan connects with a firm cross.  
Fylan cuts off the ring, trapping MacNeil in a neutral corner.  MacNeil lands a left hook.  
MacNeil lands with a solid jab.  
Fylan steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Fylan lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Fylan lands a solid cross.

Fylan senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Fylan lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING MACNEIL DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like MacNeil has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
MacNeil steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Fylan lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND MACNEIL IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  MacNeil recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Fylan gets on the inside and drives a firm left hook into MacNeil's body.  
MacNeil pivots to the right of his opponent.  Fylan connects with a sharp left hook.  
MacNeil steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
MacNeil is on target with a right hook.  MacNeil throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to MacNeil's ribcage.  
Fylan whips in a spiteful left hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE MACNEIL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  MacNeil quickly recovers. 
MacNeil is on target with a jab.  
Fylan lands with a spiteful jab.  
Fylan lands a sharp jab.  
MacNeil switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
MacNeil lands an overhand right.  
Fylan steps inside.  MacNeil attempts to land a left hook, but Fylan sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Fylan lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
MacNeil connects with a left hook.

MacNeil drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  MacNeil throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a SAVAGE right hook.  MACNEIL IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Fylan!
