Rich Maines vs David Pringle

Boxing Daily Report from the Fistic Inc promoted show at Entertainment Centre, Sydney,  taking place on 21/03/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Rich Maines (2(2) - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and David Pringle(18 - 24(5) - 6) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Maines and Pringle weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Touch, and the three ringside judges are Owen Frame, Brad Hopper and Ben Kenrick.  

Round 1: 

Maines steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Maines holds on to his opponent.  Maines leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maines lands a right hook to the body, a jab to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Maines closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, KNOCKING PRINGLE DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Pringle almost instantly recovers. 
Maines steps inside and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Pringle feints a left hook, and then lands a left uppercut.  
Pringle sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pringle throws a right hook, but Maines holds on to his opponent.  Maines pushes his forearm into Pringle's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Maines to stop fouling.  
Maines is on target with a solid right uppercut to Pringle's ribs.  Maines ties up his opponent.  Maines leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pringle tries to step out of his opponents range.  Maines is on target with a jab.  
Maines closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Pringle in the corner.  Pringle throws a left uppercut, but Maines clinches his opponent.  Maines leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Maines feints a cross, tricking Pringle into countering with a left hook.  Maines avoids the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Maines lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Maines advances into close range.  Pringle throws a left hook, but Maines holds on to his opponent.  Maines leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maines drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Maines drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Maines hits home with a right uppercut.  
Maines lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Maines clinches his opponent.  Maines uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Pringle's kidney. Maines leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maines lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Maines ties up his opponent.  Maines leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Maines steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Pringle finds the target with a jab.  
Maines closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS PRINGLE TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Pringle almost instantly recovers. 
Maines lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pringle's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Pringle's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Pringle's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Maines lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Maines closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Maines finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Maines closes the distance and drives a sharp left hook into Pringle's body.  
Maines closes the distance and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Pringle sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Maines connects with a solid cross.  
Maines pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.

Maines lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pringle is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Maines sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Maines gets on the inside and forces Pringle to retreat into a neutral corner.  Maines lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Maines sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into Pringle's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE PRINGLE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Maines is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Maines lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND PRINGLE IS DOWN!  The ref does not give Pringle the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Maines!
