Diallo Sekyi vs Mark Naude

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Investec Milpark Stadium, Johannesburg,  taking place on 11/04/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Southern African Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diallo Sekyi (10(5) - 0 - 1) who hails from Randburg, South Africa and Mark Naude(6 - 7(2)) from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  Sekyi weighed in at 115 pounds, while Naude weighed in at 114 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Phumelele Mkhize, and the three ringside judges are Quaddus Rascalimu, Voshon Adams and David Demuto.  

Round 1: 

Sekyi gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Sekyi ties up his opponent.  Sekyi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sekyi.  
Sekyi gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut.  
Sekyi lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sekyi closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to Naude's ribs.  Sekyi ties up his opponent.  Sekyi uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Naude behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sekyi.  Sekyi throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sekyi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sekyi is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Sekyi clinches his opponent.  Sekyi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Sekyi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sekyi lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Sekyi holds on to his opponent.  Sekyi throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sekyi.  
Sekyi gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Naude switches the action to the outside.  Sekyi circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Naude tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sekyi connects with a right hook.  
Sekyi advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Sekyi lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Sekyi hits home with a right uppercut.  
Naude sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sekyi lands a left hook.  
Naude throws a right hook, but Sekyi ties up his opponent.  Sekyi tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Naude behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sekyi about fouling.  
Sekyi walks Naude down, trapping him in the red corner.  Sekyi hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Sekyi lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS NAUDE TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Naude quickly recovers. 
Sekyi lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Sekyi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Sekyi lands a right hook.  
Sekyi feints a cross, and then lands a sharp jab.  
Sekyi steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Naude steps away from his opponent.  Sekyi is on target with a cross.  
Sekyi is looking to close the distance and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Sekyi advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Sekyi clinches his opponent.  Sekyi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Naude almost instantly recovers. 
Naude throws a left hook, but Sekyi holds on to his opponent.  Sekyi pushes his forearm into Naude's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sekyi to stop fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Naude's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Naude's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Sekyi steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  Sekyi ties up his opponent.  Sekyi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sekyi to stop holding.  
Sekyi is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Sekyi gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Sekyi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Sekyi pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Naude's ribcage.  
Sekyi walks Naude down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Sekyi lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  As Sekyi tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Naude dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sekyi waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Naude drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.

Sekyi lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS NAUDE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Naude now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
