Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Phoenix Club, Anaheim,  taking place on 18/03/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jacob Torbett (5(1) - 0) who hails from Wichita, USA and Connor Methven(29(2) - 7(3)) from Columbus, USA.  Both Torbett and Methven weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Vaughn, and the three ringside judges are Chris Morgan, Ian Darling and Josh Fall.  

Round 1: 

Torbett lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS METHVEN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Torbett closes the distance.  Torbett stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Torbett lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Torbett lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND METHVEN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Methven has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Torbett walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Torbett throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Torbett digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Methven hits home with a left hook.  
Torbett steps inside.  Torbett sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Torbett throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Methven retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Torbett is whaling away with hooks, but Methven keeps his defence tight.  Torbett hits home with a solid cross.  
Torbett digs in a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Methven lands with a ramrod jab.  
Torbett is on target with a left uppercut to Methven's body.  Torbett tries to land a left uppercut, but Methven dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Methven lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Torbett sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a firm right hook to Methven's body.  
Torbett is on target with a stinging left hook to Methven's liver.  Torbett throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Methven hits home with a left uppercut.  
Methven is on target with a right uppercut to Torbett's body.  
Torbett crashes a nasty left hook to Methven's body.  METHVEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Torbett knows Methven is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Torbett crashes a DEVASTATING right hook to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES METHVEN!  THE REF IMMEDIATELY WAVES OFF THE FIGHT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Torbett!
