Zuffur Mahdavi vs Jasper Jan

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 18/04/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Commonwealth Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Astro Arena, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zuffur Mahdavi (15(12) - 0 - 1) who hails from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Jasper Jan(21 - 16(8) - 1) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Both Mahdavi and Jan weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Azam, and the three ringside judges are Haider Amir, Ibrahim Mohammed and Rehan Azam.  

Round 1: 

Mahdavi steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Mahdavi's ribcage.  
Jan pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mahdavi is on target with a left uppercut to Jan's body.  Mahdavi clinches his opponent.  Mahdavi pushes his forearm into Jan's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mahdavi about fouling.  
Jan steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Mahdavi advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Jan's body.  
Mahdavi forces Jan to retreat onto the ropes.  Mahdavi crashes a mean right hook to his opponents body.  JAN IS HURT!  Mahdavi throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  Jan almost instantly recovers.

Mahdavi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mahdavi throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Jan tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a hard jab.  
Mahdavi steps inside.  Jan throws a right hook, but Mahdavi clinches his opponent.  Mahdavi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Jan tries to keep the action at long range.  Mahdavi feints a cross, fooling Jan into launching a cross counter.  Mahdavi is waiting for the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mahdavi closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Mahdavi connects with a stinging right hook.  
Mahdavi is on target with a left hook.  Mahdavi holds on to his opponent.  Jan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Jan to stop fouling.

Jan throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Mahdavi tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Jan behind the head.

Mahdavi lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Jan quickly recovers. 
Jan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jan tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a nasty cross.  JAN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Jan quickly recovers. 
Jan steps away from his opponent.  Mahdavi feints a left hook, and then lands a jab to the head, an overhand left to the head and a cross to the body.  
Mahdavi steps inside.  Jan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mahdavi lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Jan quickly recovers.

Jan doesn't look like he's recovered at all.  The ref seems to thinks so as well...he's signalling that the fight is over!  The winner by TKO is Mahdavi!
