Santiago Licea vs Nicandro Pico

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Monterrey Minier, Monterrey,  taking place on 31/03/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Licea (16 - 8(2) - 1) who hails from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico and Nicandro Pico(20(17) - 4) from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico.  Licea weighed in at 140 pounds, while Pico weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Guido Castilla, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Rochel, Juan Velasquez and Santiago Fuertes.  

Round 1: 

Licea lands an overhand right.  
Pico lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Pico clinches his opponent.  Pico pushes his forearm into Licea's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pico about fouling.  
Licea steps away from his opponent.  Pico knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Pico SLAMS a nasty left uppercut into his opponents face.  LICEA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Pico!
