Joaquin Clara vs Juan Licona

Boxing Daily Report from the Siampangila Promotions promoted show at Barcelona Aldrete, Barcelona,  taking place on 05/04/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Spain-Catalonia Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Marca TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Clara (15 - 12(4) - 1) who hails from Barcelona, Spain and Juan Licona(38(5) - 32(24) - 3) from Barcelona, Spain.  Both Clara and Licona weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Interiano, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Inocencio, Juan Fregoso and Xabat Fraire.  

Round 1: 

Licona steps inside.  Licona quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Clara throws a right uppercut, but Licona clinches his opponent.  Licona leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Licona's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Licona sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Licona lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Licona ties up his opponent.  Licona leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Licona lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Licona closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into Clara's ribs.  
Licona lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  Licona ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Licona pushes his forearm into Clara's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Licona about fouling.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Licona dabs at his face checking for damage.
