Anthony Ryan vs Brin Irwin

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 16/04/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Anthony Ryan (14(13) - 0) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Brin Irwin(15 - 23(1) - 3) from Norwich, UK.  Ryan weighed in at 130 pounds, while Irwin weighed in at 129 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Patrick McBeth, and the three ringside judges are Thomas Ryan, George Black and Marcus McConachie.  

Round 1: 

Irwin gets on the inside.  Ryan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Ryan ties up his opponent.  Ryan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ryan advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ryan holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ryan pushes his forearm into Irwin's face.  The referee warns Ryan and breaks the clinch.  Irwin almost instantly recovers. 
Ryan is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Ryan ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ryan is on target with a firm left hook to Irwin's body.  
Ryan lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND SENDS IRWIN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Irwin throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Ryan holds on to his opponent.  Ryan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ryan is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Ryan lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Ryan steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Ryan drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE IRWIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Irwin quickly recovers. 
Ryan gets on the inside.  Ryan pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ryan lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Ryan clinches his opponent.  Ryan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Irwin behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ryan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ryan lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Ryan feints a left hook, and then drives a right hook into Irwin's body.  
Ryan steps inside and hits home with a solid right hook.  Ryan clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ryan pushes his forearm into Irwin's face.  The referee warns Ryan and breaks the clinch.  
Ryan digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Ryan finds the target with a jab.  
Irwin gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Ryan drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Ryan lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ryan drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Ryan lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Ryan ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ryan lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ryan lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Irwin's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Irwin's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Irwin's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Ryan DETONATES a MASSIVE left hook on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE IRWIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ryan knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Ryan lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS IRWIN DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Irwin is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Ryan!
