David Hyndman vs Dave Gilmour

Boxing Daily Report from the Battleborn Promotions promoted show at Augusta Thomas, Augusta,  taking place on 08/04/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-South Atlantic Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Hyndman (11 - 6(2)) who hails from Augusta, USA and Dave Gilmour(37(30) - 17(13) - 1) from Cape Coral, USA.  Both Hyndman and Gilmour weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Orem, and the three ringside judges are Leo Crowder, Mark Billie and Edward Brand.  

Round 1: 

Hyndman is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.  
Gilmour lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Hyndman lands with a hard jab.  
Hyndman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gilmour is on target with a jab.  
Hyndman switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  
Gilmour connects with a solid cross.

Gilmour manages to force Hyndman into the corner.  Gilmour pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS HYNDMAN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Hyndman recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hyndman attempts to land a jab, but Gilmour blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Gilmour lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hyndman's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Hyndman's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Gilmour drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Hyndman is on target with a cross.  
Hyndman lands a left uppercut.  Hyndman attempts to land a right hook, but Gilmour blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Gilmour contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Hyndman lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Hyndman steps inside and lands a firm left hook.  Gilmour clinches his opponent.  Hyndman pushes his forearm into Gilmour's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Gilmour senses Hyndman is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Gilmour lands two right uppercuts followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Gilmour!
