James Ghant vs Dave Hammell

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Hands Arena, Chicago,  taking place on 28/03/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are James Ghant (2(2) - 0) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Dave Hammell(3 - 0) from San Francisco, USA.  Both Ghant and Hammell weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Louttit, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Hetrick, David Ridall and Colin Karolewicz.  

Round 1: 

Ghant feints a jab and triggers a left uppercut counter from Hammell.  Ghant springs the trap and counters with  a left hook.  
Ghant lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hammell switches the action to the outside.  Ghant feints a right hook, and then lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Ghant is looking to close the distance and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Ghant lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Ghant advances into close range.  Hammell throws a left hook, but Ghant holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ghant pushes his forearm into Hammell's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ghant to stop fouling.  
Ghant pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ghant is on target with a right hook.  
Ghant is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Ghant holds on to his opponent.  Ghant throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ghant.  
Ghant lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ghant walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ghant lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ghant holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Ghant's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Hammell quickly recovers. 
Ghant digs in a stinging left hook to Hammell's body.  
Ghant drives a firm right uppercut into Hammell's ribs.  
Ghant drives a firm right hook into Hammell's body.  
Ghant lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Ghant closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ghant walks his opponent into the corner.  Ghant digs in a stinging left hook to Hammell's ribs.  
Ghant digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hammell throws a left hook, but Ghant clinches his opponent.  Ghant leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ghant lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ghant advances into close range and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Hammell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ghant lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ghant closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Ghant clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Ghant's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ghant knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Ghant lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS HAMMELL!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Hammell now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Ghant closes the distance and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hammell's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Hammell's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Ghant lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ghant lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ghant lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Ghant lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hammell almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ghant pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Hammell's ribs.  
Ghant steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ghant lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ghant gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Ghant digs in a sharp right hook to Hammell's ribs.  
Ghant lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hammell throws a right hook, but Ghant clinches his opponent.  Ghant tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hammell's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ghant to stop fouling.  
Ghant advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ghant advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Ghant clinches his opponent.  Ghant leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ghant lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Ghant manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Ghant pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Ghant lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HAMMELL IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Hammell recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ghant lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ghant steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ghant pivots to the side of his opponent and whips in a spiteful left hook to Hammell's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE HAMMELL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ghant senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Hammell and just needs the right shot.  Ghant digs in a powerful left uppercut to his opponents body.  HAMMELL IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Ghant!
