David Leishman vs James Rummage

Boxing Daily Report from the hard hitting promotions promoted show at Vince Templeton Gym, Nassau,  taking place on 12/04/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bahamas Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Leishman (24(20) - 6(4) - 1) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and James Rummage(2(1) - 3(3)) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Both Leishman and Rummage weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Turner, and the three ringside judges are Mason Combee, Jack Binnie and Robert Hutcheon.  

Round 1: 

Rummage throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rummage steps to the outside and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.

Rummage manouvers Leishman onto the ropes.  Leishman lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Rummage feints a right hook, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Rummage tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Leishman tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Leishman steps inside.  Rummage attempts to land a left hook, but Leishman blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Leishman hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Leishman steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Leishman closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Leishman drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  Leishman holds on to his opponent.  Leishman pushes his forearm into Rummage's face.  The ref breaks Leishman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Rummage pivots to the side of his opponent.  Rummage throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
