Jasper McKay vs Jacob Hier

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Cairns Storer, Cairns,  taking place on 16/04/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jasper McKay (6 - 26 - 4) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Jacob Hier(17(9) - 8(1) - 2) from Gold Coast, Australia.  Both McKay and Hier weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Deasmhumhain, and the three ringside judges are Richie Higgins, Hugh Durie and Andy Sare.  

Round 1: 

Hier gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Hier holds on to his opponent.  Hier is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hier lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Hier holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Hier pushes his forearm into McKay's face.  The referee warns Hier and breaks the clinch.
