Adolfus Stohlman vs Konstantin Grigorev

Boxing Daily Report from the Punch Drunk Promotions promoted show at Lanxess Arena, Cologne,  taking place on 09/05/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Adolfus Stohlman (11(6) - 1(1)) who hails from Munich, Germany and Konstantin Grigorev(39 - 4(1)) from Yekaterinburg, Russia.  Both Stohlman and Grigorev weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ulz Manzer, and the three ringside judges are Lambert Henzel, Harmon Schmidt and Ald Alf.  

Round 1: 

Stohlman connects with a hurtful overhand right.  IT LOOKS LIKE GRIGOREV WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Grigorev quickly recovers. 
Stohlman connects with a cross.  
Stohlman attempts to land a jab, but Grigorev sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Grigorev advances into close range.  Stohlman lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stohlman is on target with a CRUSHING left uppercut.  GRIGOREV IS HURT!  Grigorev almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Stohlman is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Stohlman lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Stohlman hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Grigorev gets on the inside and forces Stohlman to retreat onto the ropes.  Grigorev hits home with a right hook.  Grigorev tries to land a right hook, but Stohlman blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Grigorev attempts to land a right hook, but Stohlman blocks the shot and counters with a FIERCE left hook.  GRIGOREV IS HURT!  
Stohlman is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Stohlman lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND GRIGOREV IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Grigorev has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Grigorev lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Stohlman finds the target with a stinging jab.  Stohlman tries to land a jab, but Grigorev blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Grigorev closes the distance and digs in a right uppercut to Stohlman's ribs.  
Grigorev is on target with a right uppercut to Stohlman's body.  
Stohlman is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.

Stohlman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a stinging jab.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Grigorev's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Grigorev's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Grigorev advances into close range.  Stohlman crashes a nasty left hook to Grigorev's body.  GRIGOREV IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.

Stohlman thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Grigorev away.  Stohlman lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES GRIGOREV!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Grigorev now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Grigorev gets on the inside.  Stohlman sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Stohlman throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Stohlman clinches his opponent.  Grigorev is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Grigorev and breaks the clinch.  
Stohlman lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Grigorev advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Grigorev is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Stohlman holds on to his opponent.  Grigorev leans on his opponent using all his weight. Grigorev uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Stohlman behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Grigorev to stop fouling.  
Stohlman pivots to the right of his opponent and goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Grigorev to the neutral corner.  He warns Stohlman to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
Stohlman tries to step out of his opponents range.  Grigorev sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Stohlman lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Grigorev steps inside and forces Stohlman to back into the ropes.  Stohlman senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Stohlman lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND GRIGOREV IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  The ref takes a good look at Grigorev's eyes.  The ref is waving the fight off...he doesnt think Grigorev is fit to continue!  The winner by TKO is Stohlman!
