Cuba Malle vs Andy Birney

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Veterans Memorial Arena, Jacksonville,  taking place on 13/05/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cuba Malle (19(14) - 0) who hails from Guatemala City, Guatemala and Andy Birney(12 - 4(1) - 1) from Augusta, USA.  Malle weighed in at 122 pounds, while Birney weighed in at 121 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Johnstone, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Mescall, Ora Danon and Cole Ghant.  

Round 1: 

Birney pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Malle is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Birney finds the target with a hard jab.  
Malle lands a cross.  
Malle gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Malle clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Malle pushes his forearm into Birney's face.  The referee warns Malle and breaks the clinch.  
Birney throws a right hook, but Malle ties up his opponent.  Malle leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Malle lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Malle lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Birney almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Malle lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Malle clinches his opponent.  Malle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Birney tries to land a left hook, but Malle sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook to Birney's body.

Malle is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Birney switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Malle sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Birney throws a left uppercut, but Malle holds on to his opponent.  Birney pushes his forearm into Malle's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Birney to stop fouling.  
Malle walks Birney onto the ropes.  Birney throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Malle steps inside.  Birney sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Malle lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Birney steps to the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but Malle sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Malle walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Birney finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Birney hits home with a cross.
