Juan Palomo vs Ben Gatti

Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Theater Center, Los Angeles,  taking place on 25/04/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Palomo (9(7) - 0) who hails from Ecatepec, Mexico and Ben Gatti(2 - 7 - 4) from Pittsburgh, USA.  Both Palomo and Gatti weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jawad Hai, and the three ringside judges are Michael Pride, Amer Othman and Morgan Kneeland.  

Round 1: 

Palomo advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Gatti almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Palomo lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Palomo is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Palomo clinches his opponent.  Palomo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gatti behind the head. 
Gatti is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Palomo lands a cross.  
Palomo is looking to close the distance.  Palomo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Palomo throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Palomo ties up his opponent.  Palomo pushes his forearm into Gatti's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Palomo to stop fouling.

Palomo closes the distance and digs in a solid left uppercut to Gatti's body.  Palomo holds on to his opponent.  Palomo pushes his forearm into Gatti's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Palomo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Gatti throws a right hook, but Palomo clinches his opponent.  Palomo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Palomo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gatti behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Palomo lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Palomo holds on to his opponent.  Palomo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Palomo pushes his forearm into Gatti's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Palomo about fouling.

Palomo connects with a left hook.  
Palomo closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Palomo walks Gatti down, trapping him on the ropes.  Palomo lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES GATTI!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
Palomo stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Palomo lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND GATTI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Gatti has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Palomo lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND GATTI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Palomo!
