Jamie McCracken vs Robert McColgan

Boxing Daily Report from the Knoetze Promotions promoted show at Perth Shevchuk, Perth,  taking place on 16/04/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jamie McCracken (3 - 4 - 1) who hails from Perth, Australia and Robert McColgan(2 - 8(1) - 4) from Perth, Australia.  Both McCracken and McColgan weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Duncan Down, and the three ringside judges are John Drummond, Fraser Trimble and Ben Banis.  

Round 1: 

McColgan advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but McCracken sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McColgan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
McCracken forces McColgan to retreat into a neutral corner.  McCracken connects with a right uppercut.  
McColgan is looking to close the distance.  McCracken tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McColgan steps inside.  McColgan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McColgan throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives McCracken time to recover.  
McCracken throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
McColgan lands a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McCracken's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  McColgan's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

McCracken lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McCracken dabs at his face checking for damage.  
McColgan lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
McCracken is on target with a cross.
