Satoru Kudo vs Satoshi Hagiwara

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Japan National Stadium, Tokyo,  taking place on 16/05/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Satoru Kudo (69(53) - 10(7) - 1) who hails from Takatsuki, Japan and Satoshi Hagiwara(26(8) - 7(5)) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Kudo and Hagiwara weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Goro Oyama, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Mikami, Isamu Shibuya and Eiji Shibata.  

Round 1: 

Hagiwara sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kudo lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kudo lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kudo lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hagiwara hits home with a left hook.  
Kudo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Hagiwara lands a hard jab.  Hagiwara attempts to land a left hook, but Kudo slips the shot and counters with a mean right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE HAGIWARA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Kudo advances into close range.  Kudo senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Kudo lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS HAGIWARA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Hagiwara now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Hagiwara feints a jab, fooling Kudo into throwing a right hook counter.  Hagiwara springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut.  
Kudo closes the distance and drives a right uppercut into Hagiwara's ribs.  
Kudo steps away from his opponent.  Kudo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Hagiwara recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kudo steps inside and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Kudo lands a jab.  
Hagiwara lands a ramrod jab.  
Hagiwara walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Kudo hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Hagiwara tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kudo closes the distance.  Hagiwara throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kudo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kudo is looking to keep his distance.  Hagiwara connects with a cross.  Hagiwara tries to land a jab, but Kudo blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Kudo lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hagiwara lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kudo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Hagiwara quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hagiwara throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Kudo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kudo finds the target with a jab.  Kudo throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kudo closes the distance and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Kudo pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid cross.  
Kudo is looking to close the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kudo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hagiwara's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Kudo steps to the outside and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Kudo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Kudo is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Kudo is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Kudo is on target with a SAVAGE left hook.  HAGIWARA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Kudo closes the distance.  Kudo lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING HAGIWARA DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Hagiwara cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Kudo!
