Carlos Portal vs Ovidio Picon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI El Salvador-San Miguel promoted show at San Miguel Carrasco, San Miguel,  taking place on 15/04/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the El Salvador Featherweight title.

Portal feints a cross, tricking Picon into launching a cross counter.  Portal springs the trap, countering with  a right hook to Picon's body.  
Picon is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Portal tries to land a jab, but Picon sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Portal sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Picon attempts to land a cross, but Portal dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Picon tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Portal feints a cross, and then is on target with an overhand left.  
Portal sidesteps to the right of his opponent and DETONATES a big cross on his opponents face.  PICON IS HURT!  
Portal sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Portal lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  It looks like Picon has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Portal sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Picon lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Portal throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Picon is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Portal's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Portal steps to the outside and is on target with a MASSIVE cross.  PICON IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Portal lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Portal is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Picon connects with a cross.  
Portal is on target with a jab.  
Picon tries to land a jab, but Portal slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Portal lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND PICON IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Portal!
