Pat Greenaway vs Andy McQuerry

Boxing Daily Report from the Ecosse Boxing promoted show at John MacPhail Gym, Glasgow,  taking place on 20/04/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Celtic Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pat Greenaway (26(18) - 16(14)) who hails from Aberdeen, UK and Andy McQuerry(11 - 2(1)) from Swansea, UK.  Both Greenaway and McQuerry weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Matthew, and the three ringside judges are Charlie MacNeal, Dennis McClung and Angus Greenaway.  

Round 1: 

Greenaway is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Greenaway lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
McQuerry is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Greenaway hits home with a solid right hook.  
McQuerry advances into close range.  McQuerry sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Greenaway lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
McQuerry tries to land a right hook, but Greenaway blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
McQuerry closes the distance.  Greenaway crashes a mean left hook to McQuerry's liver.  MCQUERRY IS HURT!  McQuerry recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Greenaway is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Greenaway is on target with a left hook.  
McQuerry is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McQuerry dabs at his face checking for damage.

McQuerry lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
McQuerry hits home with a stinging cross.  
McQuerry gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Greenaway's ribs.  
McQuerry is on target with a left hook to Greenaway's body.  
Greenaway lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Greenaway drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Greenaway quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McQuerry is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Greenaway pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Greenaway is looking to close the distance.  McQuerry lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Greenaway digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Greenaway lands a right hook.  
McQuerry walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  McQuerry lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Greenaway digs in a left hook to McQuerry's ribs.

McQuerry tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a HUGE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCQUERRY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Greenaway knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Greenaway lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS MCQUERRY!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  McQuerry now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Greenaway closes the distance and is on target with a firm left hook.  Greenaway throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Greenaway digs in a firm left hook to McQuerry's body.  
Greenaway is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Greenaway lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Greenaway tries to land a right hook, but McQuerry parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  McQuerry quickly recovers. 
Greenaway lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  McQuerry recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Greenaway pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Greenaway digs in a solid right hook to McQuerry's ribs.  
Greenaway sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a stinging right hook to McQuerry's ribcage.  
Greenaway lands a mean right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCQUERRY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  McQuerry almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Greenaway steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Greenaway EXPLODES a FEROCIOUS left hook into his opponents face.  MCQUERRY IS HURT!  McQuerry recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
McQuerry is on target with a right hook to Greenaway's ribs.  McQuerry attempts to land a right hook, but Greenaway parries the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
McQuerry pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Greenaway digs in a weighty right uppercut to McQuerry's body.  MCQUERRY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
McQuerry could be stopped here, if Greenaway can find the right shot!  Greenaway lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND MCQUERRY IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like McQuerry has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Greenaway forces McQuerry to retreat onto the ropes.  McQuerry throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Greenaway EXPLODES a DESTRUCTIVE cross into his opponents face.  MCQUERRY IS DOWN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE MCQUERRY CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Greenaway!
