Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Greater Accra promoted show at Max Moyoyo Gym, Accra,  taking place on 22/04/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Appiah (15 - 9(4) - 1) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Mark Appiah(26 - 17(4) - 4) from Accra, Ghana.  Ian weighed in at 154 pounds, while Mark weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Khalid Farooq, and the three ringside judges are Paul Tuffuor, Louis Kugblenu and Mark Omane.  

Round 1: 

Mark is looking to close the distance.  Ian retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Mark steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Mark wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ian dabs at his face checking for damage.
