Mason Bedel vs Leggett Giono

Boxing Daily Report from the AI France-Midi-Pyrenees promoted show at Vachel Joel Gym, Toulouse,  taking place on 22/04/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Midi-Pyrenees Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mason Bedel (5 - 11(1) - 1) who hails from Toulouse, France and Leggett Giono(12 - 8(2) - 4) from Toulouse, France.  Bedel weighed in at 200 pounds, while Giono weighed in at 199 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Briant Gasson, and the three ringside judges are Emmanuel Malraux, Dior Delon and Jeffrey Michel.  

Round 1: 

Bedel connects with a right hook.  
Giono throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Giono is looking to close the distance.  Giono quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Bedel attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Giono to the neutral corner.  He lectures Bedel but does not take away a point.  
Bedel tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Giono advances into close range and throws a right uppercut, but is off-target.  Giono ties up his opponent.  Bedel pushes his forearm into Giono's face.  The referee warns Bedel and breaks the clinch.
