Diego Alcala vs Santiago Tobia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at Marjun Noguera Gym, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 25/04/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras-Cortes Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Alcala (8 - 7(2) - 1) who hails from Choloma, Honduras and Santiago Tobia(6(3) - 2 - 2) from San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  Both Alcala and Tobia weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Tavera, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Trigo, Ulises Travieso and Guido Lazcano.  

Round 1: 

Alcala gets on the inside.  Tobia sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Alcala tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
