Kashif Zaman vs Saad Shakir

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkhwazi Promotions promoted show at Hassan Matar Gym, Shah Alam,  taking place on 27/04/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Selangor Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kashif Zaman (8 - 4 - 1) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Saad Shakir(2 - 0) from Shah Alam, Malaysia.  Zaman weighed in at 112 pounds, while Shakir weighed in at 111 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Malik Azimi, and the three ringside judges are Adnan Faris, Zafa Othman and Gethin Trinh.  

Round 1: 

Zaman closes the distance.  Shakir lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zaman tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Zaman advances into close range and walks his opponent into the red corner.  Shakir hits home with a left uppercut.  Shakir ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Shakir pushes his forearm into Zaman's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Shakir about fouling.  
Zaman is looking to close the distance.  Shakir digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zaman tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  Zaman attempts to land a jab, but Shakir blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Zaman steps away from his opponent.  Shakir feints a jab, tricking Zaman into countering with a left uppercut.  Shakir springs the trap, countering with  a firm right uppercut.  
Shakir advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Shakir lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Shakir hits home with a firm left hook.  
Zaman tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with an overhand left.  
Zaman steps inside.  Shakir lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Shakir is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Shakir lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Shakir ties up his opponent.  Shakir is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Shakir and breaks the clinch.

Shakir stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Shakir whips in a mean left hook to Zaman's body.  ZAMAN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Zaman now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
