Mark Torrens vs Jamie Clogston

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Olympic Park Sports Centre, Sydney,  taking place on 06/06/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Torrens (4(3) - 2) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Jamie Clogston(8 - 6(1) - 3) from Perth, Australia.  Torrens weighed in at 168 pounds, while Clogston weighed in at 169 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Duane, and the three ringside judges are Michael Bellis, Arnie Lipton and Jordan Spanos.  

Round 1: 

Torrens lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Torrens lands a jab.  
Clogston closes the distance.  Torrens connects with a FEARSOME right hook.  CLOGSTON IS HURT!  Clogston quickly recovers. 
Clogston closes the distance.  Torrens lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Torrens lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Torrens is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Torrens lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND CLOGSTON IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Clogston now seems to have got his legs back.

Clogston closes the distance.  Torrens throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Torrens holds on to his opponent.  Torrens pushes his forearm into Clogston's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Torrens quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Clogston lands a left hook.  Torrens holds on to his opponent.  Torrens pushes his forearm into Clogston's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Torrens hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Torrens hits home with an overhand left.  
Clogston manouvers Torrens onto the ropes.  Clogston quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Torrens lands with a hard jab.  
Torrens lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Torrens steps to the outside and lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Torrens lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Clogston closes the distance and throws a right uppercut, but Torrens clinches his opponent.  Torrens is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Torrens steps to the outside.  Torrens quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Torrens lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Torrens lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Clogston quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Clogston's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Clogston's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Torrens steps to the outside.  Clogston throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Torrens sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Torrens lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Torrens lands a ramrod jab.  
Clogston is looking to close the distance.  Torrens lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Torrens holds on to his opponent.  Torrens hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Torrens tries to keep the action at long range.  Torrens quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Torrens lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Torrens feints a left hook, and then lands a hard jab.  
Clogston lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Torrens lands a MASSIVE left hook.  CLOGSTON IS HURT!  Clogston almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Torrens steps to the outside.  Torrens quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Clogston recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Clogston steps inside.  Torrens is on target with a VICIOUS left uppercut.  CLOGSTON IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Torrens!
