Robert Menjo vs John Kingi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Haaris Haque Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 30/04/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Menjo (6 - 23(1) - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and John Kingi(3 - 0) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Menjo weighed in at 114 pounds and 9 ounces, while Kingi weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Bitok, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Shaheen, Kashif Haque and Matt Kanyoro.  

Round 1: 

Kingi gets on the inside and is on target with a solid left hook.

Menjo throws a right uppercut, but Kingi ties up his opponent.  Kingi pushes his forearm into Menjo's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Kingi hits home with a right hook.  Kingi clinches his opponent.  Kingi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kingi about fouling.  
Kingi is looking to close the distance and manouvers Menjo into the corner.  Kingi lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Kingi is on target with a solid left hook to Menjo's ribs.  
Kingi closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Kingi lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Kingi clinches his opponent.  Kingi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Kingi tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Menjo's kidney. Kingi hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.
