Jack Bird vs Steven Morison

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City,  taking place on 30/05/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jack Bird (12(8) - 0) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Steven Morison(11(3) - 1) from Surrey, Canada.  Bird weighed in at 175 pounds, while Morison weighed in at 174 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Briant Sarraute, and the three ringside judges are Granger Hinault, James Dunlap and Mark Mostyn.
