David Matteson vs Harvey Barlas

Boxing Daily Report from the Museli Promotions promoted show at Wichita Wann, Wichita,  taking place on 04/05/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kansas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Matteson (33(1) - 20(3) - 2 - 1(NC)) who hails from Wichita, USA and Harvey Barlas(5 - 9 - 6) from Overland Park, USA.  Both Matteson and Barlas weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Blackley, and the three ringside judges are Davie Whitted, Max Cadden and Arthur Trumble.  

Round 1: 

Matteson drives a right hook into Barlas's ribcage.  Matteson holds on to his opponent.  Matteson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Matteson walks Barlas into a corner.  Matteson lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Matteson clinches his opponent.  Matteson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Matteson manouvers Barlas onto the ropes.  Matteson lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Barlas throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
