Acelin Obie vs Ian Lanman

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City,  taking place on 30/05/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the North American Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Acelin Obie (12(5) - 0) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Ian Lanman(21(19) - 3) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Obie and Lanman weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Granger Hinault, and the three ringside judges are Briant Sarraute, Mark Mostyn and James Dunlap.  

Round 1: 

Obie steps inside.  Lanman lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lanman lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Lanman tries to land a left hook, but Obie sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Obie manouvers Lanman onto the ropes.  Lanman throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lanman lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Lanman attempts to land a left hook, but Obie parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lanman lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Obie advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Obie pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Obie advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Lanman's body.  
Obie tries to land a right hook, but Lanman blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Obie closes the distance.  Obie lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  As Lanman tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Obie.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Lanman is on target with a stinging cross.  
Obie feints a right hook, and then lands a ramrod jab.  
Lanman lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Lanman throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Lanman is looking to force the stoppage!  Lanman connects with a FEROCIOUS left uppercut.  OBIE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Obie now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
