Lakista Kathurima vs Amjad Shahidi

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 12/06/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Eastern African Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lakista Kathurima (26(22) - 2(1)) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Amjad Shahidi(17(5) - 3(1)) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Kathurima and Shahidi weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Bwakali, and the three ringside judges are Joey Keino, Tavon Wanga and Connor Kamau.  

Round 1: 

Kathurima advances into close range.  Shahidi lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
