Danyaal Yasin vs Obaid Rafiq

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Yemen-Aden promoted show at Aden Alqurtubi, Aden,  taking place on 07/05/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Yemen-Aden Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danyaal Yasin (10 - 18(2) - 5) who hails from Aden, Yemen and Obaid Rafiq(8(2) - 3 - 1) from Aden, Yemen.  Both Yasin and Rafiq weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ahmed Burhan, and the three ringside judges are Ahmed Burhan, Amjad Alsamarrai and Kashif Yakub.  

Round 1: 

Yasin is looking to keep his distance.  Rafiq lands a sharp cross to Yasin's body.  
Rafiq steps inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Rafiq sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yasin attempts to land a cross, but Rafiq slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rafiq steps inside.  Rafiq pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Rafiq closes the distance.  Rafiq pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a firm left hook.  
Rafiq drives a firm left hook into Yasin's body.  
Rafiq advances into close range.  Rafiq quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rafiq lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING YASIN DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Rafiq clinches his opponent.  Yasin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Yasin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rafiq manouvers Yasin into a corner.  Rafiq quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Yasin waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Rafiq hits home with a solid cross.  
Yasin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Yasin tries to land a cross, but Rafiq sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Rafiq lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rafiq steps inside and is on target with a weighty left hook to Yasin's body.  YASIN IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Yasin switches the action to the outside.  Rafiq lands a sharp overhand right.  
Rafiq closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Rafiq is on target with a right hook to Yasin's ribs.  
Rafiq closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Rafiq lands a left uppercut.  
Rafiq steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Rafiq lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Yasin's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Yasin's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Rafiq switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Rafiq closes the distance.  Rafiq sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Rafiq sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rafiq lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Rafiq holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rafiq gets on the inside.  Rafiq knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Rafiq crashes a big right hook to his opponents body.  YASIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Yasin now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Rafiq is looking to close the distance.  Yasin throws a left hook, but Rafiq holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Rafiq pushes his forearm into Yasin's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rafiq.  
Rafiq lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Rafiq advances into close range and drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  Rafiq holds on to his opponent.  Rafiq tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Yasin behind the head. The referee warns Rafiq and breaks the clinch.  
Rafiq closes the distance.  Yasin tries to land a left hook, but Rafiq blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Yasin's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Yasin's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Yasin is on target with a left hook to Rafiq's ribs.  
Rafiq advances into close range.  Rafiq lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND SENDS YASIN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.

Rafiq is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Rafiq lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND YASIN IS DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Rafiq!
