Charles Harper vs Spencer Forrest

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Promotions promoted show at Wellington Stephenson, Wellington,  taking place on 16/05/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Charles Harper (8(3) - 9(1) - 1) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Spencer Forrest(12 - 6(2) - 2) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Harper weighed in at 230 pounds and 14 ounces, while Forrest weighed in at 228 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aika Rako, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Telford, Richie Hughson and Ahia Koroheke.  

Round 1: 

Harper quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Harper switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Forrest blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Harper sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Harper feints a left, and then lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

As Harper tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Forrest dabs at his face checking for damage.

Harper lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Harper advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Harper holds on to his opponent.  Harper is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
