Isamu Hata vs Nori Shimizu

Boxing Daily Report from the Japanese Boxing Federation promoted show at Yodogawa Ward Center, Osaka,  taking place on 10/05/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Isamu Hata (9 - 6(2) - 1) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Nori Shimizu(6 - 6(2) - 1) from Sakai, Japan.  Hata weighed in at 126 pounds, while Shimizu weighed in at 125 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Goro Tsuchida, and the three ringside judges are Satoru Goda, Satoru Muraoka and Raiden Yamamura.  

Round 1: 

Shimizu throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Shimizu.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
