Kian Carroll vs Mark Birney

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 28/05/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kian Carroll (26(12) - 5(2) - 1) who hails from Bangor, UK and Mark Birney(33(19) - 10(3)) from Bristol, UK.  Both Carroll and Birney weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thomas Ryan, and the three ringside judges are Ed McPhatter, William Owen and Peter McWethy.
