Denis Bayne vs Ollie Hammell

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at University Field, Albany,  taking place on 30/05/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Denis Bayne (11(5) - 1) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Ollie Hammell(9 - 7(2)) from Columbus, USA.  Bayne weighed in at 200 pounds, while Hammell weighed in at 199 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Richard Sateriale, and the three ringside judges are Primo Scotti, John Shank and Joey Kelly.  

Round 1: 

Hammell pivots to the left of his opponent.  Bayne throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Bayne ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Bayne pushes his forearm into Hammell's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bayne to stop fouling.  
Hammell pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Bayne digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bayne gets on the inside.  Hammell lands a left hook.  
Bayne closes the distance and connects with a right hook.

Bayne is looking to close the distance.  Hammell throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a CRUSHING cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE HAMMELL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Hammell recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Bayne attempts to land a left uppercut, but Hammell blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hammell tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.

Bayne steps inside.  Bayne sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bayne hits home with a right hook.  Bayne clinches his opponent.  Bayne leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Bayne's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hammell lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Bayne lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS HAMMELL TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Hammell recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
