Sam Curtin vs Chris Duggan

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Texas Memorial Stadium, Austin,  taking place on 30/05/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Curtin (8(3) - 0) who hails from Allentown, USA and Chris Duggan(25 - 12(1) - 1) from Chicago, USA.  Curtin weighed in at 154 pounds, while Duggan weighed in at 153 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Noah Fergusson, and the three ringside judges are Paul Kernell, John Lewison and Ricky Cowie.  

Round 1: 

Curtin steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Curtin lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Curtin pivots from in front of his opponent.  Duggan tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Curtin switches the action to the outside and is on target with a firm cross.  
Duggan lands with a sharp jab.  Duggan attempts to land a cross, but Curtin slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Curtin lands a ramrod jab.  
Curtin lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Curtin drives a hurtful cross into Duggan's body.  DUGGAN IS HURT!  Duggan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Curtin lands a right hook followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND DUGGAN IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Duggan quickly recovers.

Duggan manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Curtin lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Curtin throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Curtin lands a ramrod jab.  
Curtin tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Curtin tries to land a jab, but Duggan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Curtin tries to keep the action at long range.  Curtin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Duggan is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Curtin lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Curtin is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Curtin clinches his opponent.  Duggan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Curtin's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Duggan.  
Curtin is looking to keep the action on the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Curtin lands a solid cross.  
Curtin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a firm jab to his opponents body.  
Curtin steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Curtin holds on to his opponent.  Duggan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Curtin steps to the outside and hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Curtin lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Curtin lands with a spiteful jab.  
Curtin is on target with a cross.  
Curtin is on target with a hard jab.  
Curtin lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Some sustained pressure from Curtin could be enough to finish Duggan!  Curtin lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING DUGGAN TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Curtin lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, KNOCKING DUGGAN DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Curtin!
