Darryl Olita vs Dele Okoye

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town,  taking place on 12/06/2043:

Clearly African Boxing Kingdom have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Darryl Olita (10(8) - 1(1)) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Dele Okoye(20 - 15(1) - 5) from Ibadan, Nigeria.  Olita weighed in at 174 pounds and 5 ounces, while Okoye weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Laken Ako, and the three ringside judges are Laken Ako, Colin Ntuli and Xhosas Serero.  

Round 1: 

Olita closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Olita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Okoye is on target with a cross.  
Olita advances into close range and slams a big left hook into his opponents ribs.  OKOYE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Olita clinches his opponent.  Olita pushes his forearm into Okoye's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Okoye recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Okoye tries to land a cross, but Olita dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Olita advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Olita feints a jab, fooling Okoye into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Olita springs the trap and counters with  a solid left hook to Okoye's body.  
Okoye pivots to the left of his opponent.  Olita lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Olita cuts off the ring, trapping Okoye in a corner.  Olita lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  Olita clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Olita pushes his forearm into Okoye's face.  The referee warns Olita and breaks the clinch.  
Olita is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  Olita holds on to his opponent.  Olita leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Olita drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Olita digs in a left uppercut to Okoye's liver.  
Okoye switches the action to the outside.  Olita lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Olita lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Okoye pivots from in front of his opponent.  Olita lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Olita cuts off the ring, trapping Okoye in the corner.  Olita contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Okoye attempts to land a cross, but Olita sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Olita lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Olita hits the target with a hard jab.  Olita tries to land a jab, but Okoye sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Olita is on target with a right hook to Okoye's body.  Olita ties up his opponent.  Olita leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Olita steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Olita lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Olita lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DROPS OKOYE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Some sustained pressure from Olita could be enough to finish Okoye!  Olita lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS OKOYE!  He manages to get up at 4.

Olita slams a hurtful left hook into his opponents body.  OKOYE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Okoye has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
