Dario Vasques vs Angel Rapoza

Boxing Daily Report from the Kleber Recife promoted show at Salvador Ponte, Salvador,  taking place on 18/05/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Bahia Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dario Vasques (7 - 8 - 3) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Angel Rapoza(7 - 2(1)) from Salvador, Brazil.  Both Vasques and Rapoza weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rogelio Coutinho, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Gago, Sancho Coval and Rafael Eanes.  

Round 1: 

Rapoza steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rapoza dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Vasques tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with an overhand right.
