Lucas Madoc vs Alun Fidler

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Wales promoted show at Cardiff Owen, Cardiff,  taking place on 18/05/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lucas Madoc (16(11) - 4(3)) who hails from Swansea, UK and Alun Fidler(5 - 7(3) - 3) from Swansea, UK.  Both Madoc and Fidler weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Inigo Rury, and the three ringside judges are Mark MacNevin, Dale Carrick and Glyn Bowen.  

Round 1: 

Madoc steps inside and is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Fidler is looking to close the distance.  Madoc digs in a left hook to Fidler's liver.  
Madoc feints a jab, but Fidler ignores the feint and responds with a left uppercut.  
Madoc lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Madoc holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Madoc pushes his forearm into Fidler's face.  The referee warns Madoc and breaks the clinch.  Fidler quickly recovers. 
Madoc connects with a firm right hook.  
Madoc lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Fidler throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Madoc ties up his opponent.  Madoc is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Madoc's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Madoc lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Madoc is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Fidler throws a left uppercut, but Madoc clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Madoc pushes his forearm into Fidler's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Madoc about fouling.  
Madoc connects with a right hook.  
Madoc quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Madoc gets on the inside.  Madoc pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook to Fidler's body.  
Madoc lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Madoc lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Madoc lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Madoc is on target with a solid left hook to Fidler's body.  
Madoc gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Madoc pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Madoc closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Madoc thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Fidler away.  Madoc is on target with a powerful left uppercut to Fidler's body.  FIDLER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Fidler has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Fidler's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Fidler's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Madoc gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES FIDLER!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Fidler recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Madoc steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Madoc lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Madoc steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING FIDLER TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  Fidler recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Madoc closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Madoc could be enough to force the stoppage!  Madoc lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES FIDLER!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Madoc!
