Germain Papin vs John Tod

Boxing Daily Report from the Namugerwa Promotions promoted show at Henry Shiel Gym, Calgary,  taking place on 19/05/2043:

Clearly Namugerwa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Germain Papin (4(3) - 2) who hails from Calgary, Canada and John Tod(3 - 14(1) - 1) from Edmonton, Canada.  Both Papin and Tod weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oscar Lewis, and the three ringside judges are Antwan Duris, Callum Burnet and Isaac Myres.  

Round 1: 

Tod throws a right hook, but Papin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Papin pushes his forearm into Tod's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Papin tries to land a right hook, but Tod sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Papin steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Papin clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Tod pushes his forearm into Papin's face.  The ref breaks Papin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Papin forces Tod to back into the corner.  Papin lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Papin pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  As Papin tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tod dabs at his face checking for damage.
